Guitar Teacher Training Mastermind Group

Your First Five Paying Students, In 30 Days Or Less

You’ve spent years relentlessly working on your guitar skills… only to find that making a living from those skills is almost impossible…

What are your options?

  • Playing in a covers band…?
  • Getting a teaching degree and working for a school…?
  • Working for an agency or teach for someone else and get paid a fraction of what you could earn…?

They can all make money, but the problem is that they don’t pay well, they’re competitive, and you end up trading a huge amount of time for a meager income…

You either end up with no money, but plenty of time on your hands… or you can make a nice income, but you have no time left to work on your music…

What you want is a way you can make some decent money and have the time and money left over so that you can work on your music, your skills… or just have fun with your life.

It’s really a simple math problem… how can you make X income with Y hours per week?

And it can be done…

It’s perfectly possible to set yourself up so that you can work part-time hours with a full-time income…

Or to make an extra thousand bucks a month for a few hours a week of teaching kids to play smoke on the water and happy birthday!

I know because I’ve done it before, and I’m building it again, from scratch.

Around 10 years ago I was making a full-time income with part-time hours. I built a local community of guitar players who loved coming to my lessons and were paying me every month for it.

And today, I’m repeating that process, building from the ground up, in the leanest and simplest way possible, using the methods and approaches that are working today, and keeping my phone ringing with new students – every day.

The great thing about building from scratch is that I can see the problems I had the previous time, I can cut out what didn’t work and focus on what’s bringing people in… in fact, at this rate, I’m going to grow to my previous level of students in 3 to 4 months… rather than the three to four YEARS that this previously took…

I’m putting that knowledge together in a way you can start using today.

5. Find Something Relevant To You In The Call Library

Coaching calls are uploaded the platform in a library. Want help on a particular topic? Find some calls on that topic and listen through.

6. Vote Or Request A Masterclass Topic

Every month I’ll do an in-depth masterclass on a particular topic. We’ll get into the nitty gritty and hammer out the details.

FAQs

Question: I’ve never taught before, can this work for me?

Yes – every teacher starts somewhere. In the program you can ask questions and get feedback on teaching methods.

I remember teaching my first lessons… I was awful! We can go over the mistakes I made and how you can avoid them – hint: Usually doing less creates a better experience for the student and helps them learn faster.

Question: Do I need a degree in teaching to teach?

Nope. If you have one that’s great, but it’s not necessary. You learned to play guitar, you can learn to teach guitar.

Question: Do I need a studio to teach from?

No, one thing we cover in the Fast Start Guide is what you need to get started. Hint: You don’t need a fancy studio. Students couldn’t care less about your teaching space.

Question: Am I going to be able to find students?

We’ll cover exactly how to find students.

Question: Do I need to be a virtuoso guitar player?

You don’t: You need to be able to help people. Most students are beginners, and if you can help them do something simple, they’ll be really excited about taking lessons with you.

If you can play songs from start to finish with a band, you know enough to get started.

Question: I only want to teach intermediate guitarists, I’m not confident teaching beginners

You might think this, but once you learn how to teach beginners, you’ll see that actually it’s really easy, and they’re easy and fun to teach. They get big wins quickly and have a great time learning!

We can train on how to teach beginners so that you have the confidence to help more people.

Question: Will people really pay me money to learn guitar from me?

Yes and you will be surprised at how much they’re willing to pay.

Question: Students can learn from YouTube and 1000s of websites and courses online, why would they take lessons with me?

Because those resources, while great, can never replace the simplicity and effectiveness of someone sitting next to you and saying “do this, do that”. Everyone knows that. And a LOT of people are willing to pay for that.

Question: There are other guitar teachers near me, why would anyone take lessons with me?

You’d be surprised at how bad most guitar teachers are… and how easy it is to be a good guitar teacher by comparison. Other teachers often works in your favor, when someone comes to your lesson and has a good experience and learns something, they’re going to be excited to sign up with you!

Question: Do I need a fancy website and tons of professional videos and photos to get started?

Nope. Actually, I wouldn’t bother with a website until you enter Phase 3 or even 4. A nice photo or two is very helpful, but you don’t need pro photos and videos. If you have a smart phone from this decade you what you need for making your first promotional materials.

This Takes Work… But It’s Easier Than You Think

Being broke sucks. I’m not making any promises about how much you can earn, I’m not promising you’ll make “six figures” or anything silly like that.

But look, you can find at least a handful of people who are going to be happy to pay you to learn from you. They’ll have a great time learning, and you’re going to make a tidy sum for what… a couple of hours a week of teaching?

What does it take to make $80/hour… $130/hour or even over $200/hour? This isn’t a promise of what you can do, but this is an example what I’ve done teaching guitar locally (done, while taking awful advice!).

This does take work, it doesn’t happen overnight, and you will find yourself getting stuck, frustrated and having questions.

But that’s what I’m here for – to help you along the process.

What difference will this make to you?

Five students…

30 minute lesson every week…

How much per lesson? $30? $45?

Two and a half hours per week of teaching…

$650 to $975 per month depending on how you charge…

Obviously I can’t guarantee this… but it’s pretty simple math…

And it’s more achievable than you think

Get started today, dive into the Fast Start Guide today, sign up for a coaching call TODAY and let’s get you started finding your first five students.

The Cost You Pay For Not Taking Action

Imagine how your life would be different if you had started a year ago. A handful of students that you can teach in a few hours a week quickly adds up over the course of a year.

Would a handful of paying students have made a positive impact on your life? A handful of students each week could do a lot:

  • A nice holiday each year
  • Cover the credit card payment and help pay it off
  • Cover the mortgage
  • A pile of presents for the kids at Christmas
  • Cover the cost of date night every week with the wife

Now a handful of students won’t let you do all of that, but a few students with a couple of hours teaching a week will probably easily take care of one or two or those.

And like we mentioned before – if you can get a couple of students in the next 30 days, is there any reason you can’t get a few students every month?

Only ONE guitarist per genre per area will be allowed to join – by joining today you block your competitors from joining the program…
